Hydrocarbon contamination in groundwater with sensitive ecological receptors located within close proximity to site.

Desired outcome: 

 

Removal of contamination memorial on title.

Services provided:

 

Preliminary through to detailed contaminated site investigation.

Remediation and validation plan development. Remediation costs and the need for intrusive environmental works were minimised through the use of monitored natural attenuation as the primary remediation strategy.

​

Ongoing groundwater monitoring and regulator reporting, culminating in a post remediation validation and close-out report.

Project outcome:

 

Regulator approval, memorial removal, with the site deemed suitable for the proposed use.
